before the first post. There are so many out there addressing the issue by terms such as "Slave labor", "21st Century Slavery", "A return to post civil-war Slavery", etc. that I wanted to actually address the loss of private sector jobs rather than addressing prison labor. One doesn't necessarily mean the other will occur, but that's what has happened since 1990.

Insourcing is something as tangible as outsourcing, when both refer to our jobs and the processes used to eliminate them. Thanks for the idea though - of course INSOURCING - "The Clients" and the others you suggested got past me and should have been a consideration.

I need a job...I'll email a resume if you'd like.  I'm also highly interested in the Prison Industrial
Complex.  One of the arguments that resulted in my last divorce was that he insisted on investing in Corrections Corp. of America.  I had friends in prison and had heard about the corruption and inhumanity in these prisons.  I just couldn't stomach investing in that vile company that profits so much from the poor and mentally ill.  Of course, the investment has made him lots of money....I didn't get any of it.  I'll help with research, audit trail(to ensure they are 'Certified') or any accounting assistance I can provide.  Let me know what you need and we can discuss further.

It's just that people tend to overlook mild words. Words like Slavery call attention to the topic immediately.

The word INSOURCING doesn't get the mind/soul attention that SLAVERY does. People shudder to their soul at the very idea of slavery for themselves or their families. Headlines are very important. This is kind of my field. People's attention are being competed for in every topic and every medium possible. If something doesn't just about literally SCREAM at them, it passes them by. Your entire diary and the subject deserves better than that.

So if your topic job loss, which is very much helped along by prison labor maybe your headline could be:

        SLAVERY USA: The Unemployment Effect

        SLAVERY TODAY: The Unemployment Effect

INSOURCING SLAVERY: Prison Labor Swindles Economy

INSOURCING SLAVERY: Prison Labor Robs Employment

Anyway, you get the idea. Thanks for hearing my ideas.
