hidden from public view and knowledge. The public is obviously aware of the rising number of incarcerated prisoners, but unaware that violent and property crimes have been in decline for more than 20 years now.

This allowed corporate interests to continue their pursuit of apprehending and sending more and more men and women to prison for lesser non-violent and non-property crimes. Most were sentenced for victim-less drug crimes. Without knowing this, the public has been funneling huge sums of tax dollars into the pockets of these corporate interests - believing they were paying for the incarceration of criminals dangerous to their neighbors. Nothing but a continuing scam thoroughly researched and put into operation by those few seeking huge profits at our expense.

Add to this the fact that once sent to prison these men and women are put to work to make more profits through prison industries partnered with the same corporate interest, and the full extent of the deception and earnings are exposed.
