That's one (of many) reasons why I cannot stand my Texas Governor, Traitor Rick Perry. His cavalier statements about Texas seceding from the Union just gets my shorts in a knot. To me, who put his life on the line to defend the United States of America and served in the U.S. Navy (not the Texas Navy), that's one of the big things that really sets me off. To all these so-called peacocking defenders of liberty, like Traitor Rick, who propose secession whenever things don't go their way (and who is now mewling like he wants to be President of the same country he earlier wanted to secede from, imagine), I simply ask what is the word following "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, what does that word mean, and do they truly believe in their precious Pledge of Allegiance? I know I do.

(in the 80's they could afford to be picky and when I tried they said, son, we don't need your kind, funny how in the 90's I had a couple recruiters all up in my stuff trying to sign me up after servicing their vehicles for a while...heh...)

      agree's 100 percent...

Us liberals are quite capable of patriotism too unlike common republic opinion......

What I always find amusing is how here in the vipers den so to speak, we have so many veterans and currently serving personnel...nothing like the numbers you see on the right wing sites.....

I'd actually like to see a survey as to how many actual activist types on each side of the divide served or if they ever did.....
