    a Latina in NC against Hagan when she runs next time.  But, I have a feeling that Elaine Marshall will run again, and this time she might be able to do it without a protracted primary battle like what she had to waste time and money on last year.

    Hagan was a loser when she got elected and won, as you point out, because she was running in a year when a comatose Dem might have been able to beat Liddy Dole.  It will be a bit tougher to challenge her, but I don't think if Hagan's opponent gets the NC Dem party onboard post-primary it will be a bad battle, especially after the good people of NC get to see how the republican politics of destruction are working out for them, and Latinos find their voice in electoral politics.
