    is that Reid never seems to be interested in enforcing the same kind of Party Discipline that McConnel and before him Frist enforced on the floor of the Senate.  

    You don't see republicans who wander off the reservation rewarded by leadership with committee chairmanships (Lieberman) or being allowed to drive the party agenda and get recognition.  If they're going to be part of the caucus, force them to toe the fucking line, this isn't the collegial, clubby Senate anymore; it's war and they have to get up every day for the rest of their professional political lives ready to FIGHT for their constituents and the ideals of the Democratic Party or take their lavish retirement packages and go do whatever asshat legislators do to line their pockets after they get done doing it while seated in Congress.
