    It's funny, well not funny but you know what I mean -- to me Edwards was the true progressive, Hillary was (potentially, at least) the DINO sellout and Obama was the cipher whom I simply did not trust.  

    Turns out Edwards was the slimeball (and to this day just the mention of his name makes my blood pressure spike, because I really believed in him and his message and my sense of betrayal is huge) -- and Obama is the DINO sellout.  Maybe Hillary would have been the best choice after all.

    Sigh.

      And in a way, thank goodness he did not become President, because, well, anyway. But yes. He was the progressive. And yes. I believed in him, too. Glad to see I wasn't the only one who could see more in him than Kerry's running-mate.

      All I will say about Hillary is this: she has shown herself to be, without a doubt, one of the most able people to ever be Sec. of State.
