but i'm pitiful with spoken word and don't have that kind of time.

i know there are others out there though.

maybe a  compilation of the main progressive talkers and internet analysts  commenting on talk radio would work.

most of the main national and local (the big one's especially) talkers expand on the same basic stuff. limbaugh gets first dibs and gets scoops to help him maintain his certitude.

getting all those transcripts and posting them on the internet together to search for commonalities and patterns should have been a no-brainer long ago for the dem party and larger progressive orgs who keep getting beaten by them.

but it would take resources i don't have, and may even be illegal.

Progressives will lose all major messaging battles until they picket the limbaugh/hannity megastations and boycott those stations' local sponsors.

    •  I understand (0+ / 0-)

time constraints, etc., but why do you think it would be 'illegal'?

      •  publishing transcripts (0+ / 0-)

i don't know- not a lawyer- but these are talkers and if they provide transcripts on their sites would reprinting them be a copyright problem....

maybe using a transcription software, if possible, could be inaccurate.

sampling them for quotes is one thing but putting them all together on the internet every day in their entirety....

        •  Sampling is enough. (0+ / 0-)

Just calling out some of the lies will be enough.  No need to do more than about 30 seconds of sample, then add a few minutes explaining sources and why it's a lie.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

Actual progressive policies like "How do we get <insert good thing here> for EVERYONE" can also be part of the critique.

          •  that hasn't worked so far- it has to be (0+ / 0-)

regular and loud enough to shame media into avoiding lazily repeating the same shit. and it has to loud  enough that the tens of millions who are peripherally drawn into the alternate reality become aware they are being lied to.

the last 20 years is one case after another of the radio beating the left without them knowing why. as long as media and political analysts aren't aware of that pattern we are fucked.

the recent study blaming fox for misinforming america is a prime example- fox is nothing without talk radio repetition to do the groundwork in cars and worksites every day where there are no alts for politics.
