with no mind. Didn't we have one of those before?

Oh yeah, he won. Well he's certainly qualified to run. And he might win. This amerika afterall.

Still it should be interesting to see during a republican debate who is going to sandbag Barbour with his racism, and to see which one of them has the coolest black friend.

Now that I think about it....why are you trying to spoil my fun. Please let Haley run.

    •  so cosbo how are you gonna ignore Haley (0+ / 0-)

when he's sitting in the white house.........just saying that taking the high road doesn't always get you somewhere

    •  In these days of lookism, Hailey Barbour will not (0+ / 0-)

be a viable Presidential candidate until he loses about 50 pounds.  Just like Huckabee, who realized that you cannot be a serious voice on the national circuit looking like Boss Hogg, Barbour would have to slim down to be taken seriously in this age where the video picture decides who gets elected.  Sarah Palin would have a much smaller following if she looked less "hot" in the sense that she did not excite the immature Republican conservative commentary base in ways that were not entirely wholesome.  Chris Christie is another who will have to lose some weight to be taken seriously on the national scene (he is already making noises that he doesn't necessarily think that global climate change has been caused by human actions, which in Jersey is like saying that he is a Creationist).  I am not saying that "lookism" and discrimination against heavier people is right, but when you look at television, how many heavy people do you see?  I think someone as fat as Hailey Barbour would have a tough time achieving credibility, and in this instance, that's a good thing.
