    Booker a . . . "collaborator"!

Note the cops laid off in Newark, because the union's proposed "give back" was too small and the effort to make the public schools charters.

in 49 states.  I pay attention, and have paid attention to Booker for many years.

"Collaborator" is loaded, pejorative language to use in the best of circumstances and is particularly inapt in describing a politician who has a record of intense involvement and creative decision making.

How does Booker win a statewide election without the support of the teachers?

          •  Oh, he may well lose. (0+ / 0-)

Happens all the time.  What I object to is the pauperization of language in which we use a term like "collaborator" to describe a civic official who made a decision with which we disagree.  No one is fooled: a "collaborator" is a traitor, a quisling, a low form of life.  We throw these verbal nuclear weapons around with such ease and dispatch that the words lose meaning and every disagreement becomes a capital crime.
