    ... to rules changes proposed at the very beginning of the session.  All it takes is a majority, which the Dems have.  

    I think Filibuster reform is a great idea, even though the House will be in Republican hands. Very little controversial legislation will make it through because of the split Congress. However, a majority-rules Senate under Democratic control will be able to confirm nominations.  So these next two years will be all about nominations.
