I will check out the links later when I am more present mentally.  Thanks for posting this.

This is not good news. For anybody.

Facebook was jumping last night|in to the wee hours with news reports on LePage's daughter, and the Cutler fiasco.

All of it ties in with Dan Billings, too (as he's incoming LePage's "legal counselor."

      Yup.

It's a holiday weekend; and I'm not sure how many Mainers are tuning in to the news (TV or internet).

MPBN is on the attack; and the online news articles I posted happened early this morning (I was still awake)--between midnight and 3:30 a.m., or so.

If you have a FB account, join MPBN.net's page; as well as its other one, MPBN Capitol Connection.

I haven't checked the Bangor Daily News today, either--need to scoot to Hannaford before they close.

And LePage isn't even sworn in yet, mind you.

I don't have cable TV now, so am unaware how (or to what extent) those Maine media news folks are reporting all of it.

I had previously never heard of Rosa before (although, I knew that she was embittered about losing in the June primary); however, she wasn't even close to Mitchell or Rowe's totals last June.

Bailey made a nice tidy sum of $$$ from Moody and Rosa's campaigns as a "consultant," and he's got the gall to be whining now about bloggers and anonymity!

If a candidate hires you for any position (and you're a blogger)--his blog sucks, BTW--hardly any traffic...you shut it down, or pay someone to blog for you.

If you continue to blog, you post a prominent disclaimer in the upper left sidebar stating that your are indeed on the payroll of candidate XYZ.

      Any moron knows that!

It gets better:  one of them (Bailey or Thom Rhoades) tried to sell their "research" (all on Google--BFD) for $30,000 to another campaign!

      No shit.

        here.

I wasn't the least bit impressed by any of that--I know Jimmy.

As with Lauren LePage, he was formerly a UPS driver; as well as an intense GOTV labor activist (it was a political "favor" from Baldacci).

        Not kosher.

Then Jimmy went nuts on expense account cards.

He has amazing memory recall like I've never seen before.

At Baldacci's 2nd inaugural ball, Jimmy was shitfaced; and he could still recall my street address and apartment number as far back as the early 1990s in Bangor.

I'd only seen him a few times since then at political events--only to say a brief "hello" to.

        Unreal memory.

However, Baldacci did engage in cronyism with some of his appointments; but not with his immediate family members like Lauren...I'll give him that much credit!

but I am actually in Maine now for the holidays with my family.  I have not been anywhere near a TV, nor have I listened to any radio, and I am the only political animal in the house.  I have been visiting, baking, wrapping presents, etc.  I don't do FB, but I will check out the MPBN coverage later today.

Thanks again for the links.  Keep the faith!
