  •  A bitter man. (9+ / 0-)

Joined the Navy, not because he wanted to, but because his father and grandfather were both admirals. Went through hell in Vietnam (as did others.) Became a Senator, but still craved attention from authority figures, including those who got him involved in the savings and loan debacle.

Felt that he was owed the presidency. Couldn't believe that he had to be on the same platform, debating what he saw as a rank newcomer to politics, and someone who had never served in the military, "That one."

Stupidly let himself be charmed by Palin and picked her for the second spot on the ticket without sufficient vetting. Humiliated when the press and the voters saw through her.

Angry because of that, angry because the voters chose Obama, stil angry and bitter and hating everyone he feels "betrayed" him.

Fails to see that his own pandering to the worst in the GOP, rejected even his own long-held principles, was a large part why he lost.

He's on the down slope and he can't stand it. Bitter, bitter man.

Freedom has two enemies: Those who want to control everyone around them...and those who feel no need to control themselves.
