    but whether roasted or green, my current favorite source is Dean's Beans in MA.

      It may be just a small act, but buying fair trade beans is a win win situation if I ever saw one. The farmers get a fair price, and you get cheap coffee from a known source.

      I bought some beans from Sulawesi that were certified organic, but not because the farmers went out of their way to be organic, it is just the traditional way they grow coffee, which I thought was pretty cool. I am all in favor of promoting organic and traditional farmers.

      The coffee I got from them was damn good, but didn't stand up well to a really dark roast.

      Sorry if it sounds like I am raving, but I am very passionate about my coffee. :)
