  •  Yes, Move Your Money - it is not (8+ / 0-)

only good for making you less dependent on the banksters but it takes a bit more juice away from them.  Also important is that it makes that part of us that is aware of the far reaching effects of our every action awaken.  The more this consciousness awakens in all of us, the better we can communicate and let each other know which things and endeavors enhance a better world and which things are tainted by greed and destruction.  If we knew which corn chips were produced by growers and manufacturers who are responsible and which are from those that fuck up the Earth, we'd probably not mind spending a few extra cents if needed to direct our energy responsibly.  Ultimately, even if it cost more at the point of purchase, we would reap more benefit in the long run than buying cheap stuff that trashes our environment and makes our bodies sick.
Currently I do what I can to aim my dollars and energy responsibly but there are many times when I simply don't have the information nor do I have the time to research every step I take.  Which means some of my energy is feeding the beast even tho I don't want it to.  We need a coordinated community across the world to help us help each other to direct our money and efforts.  This will be the greatest function of the internet ultimately.  Not just for porn anymore.

I was wise enough to never grow up while fooling most people into believing I had. - Margaret Mead
