  •  Goddard was the worst candidate (3+ / 0-)

    I've seen.

I seriously don't think you can win for Gov from Attorney General and not have investigated Arpaio.

    I just don't see that many pro-Dem, pro-Arpaio votes.

and he ran a lousy campaign.  Randy Glassman was worse.

      Arizona. It's a dry hate.

trouble, but Glassman was almost a fringe candidate.  Not in terms of his beliefs but in terms of 2 main features:

        1. resume padding-the people that were doing the same amount of resume selling of non-governmental work experience (maybe "padding" wasn't the right word) on the Republican side were all teabaggers
        1. organization-he supposedly treated his volunteers and employees terribly

Yes, I probably engaged in hyperbole because Pederson and Glassman and the guy who ran against Jim Talent in MO in '94 were all probably worse.  However, Goddard gets additional levels of scorn from me.

        •  Yes Glassman was terrible (3+ / 0-)

He was the only Dem candidate for whom I didn't vote, I voted Green Party for the Senate. But even then if I thought it was going to be close I'd have voted for Glassman because he would still be a big improvement over McCain. But I knew McCain would win by 25%+, so voted my conscience instead.

I liked every other dem candidate better than him.  I really like Dougherty.
