    •  I'm just following the leader's lead (0+ / 0-)

I just read 2 weeks ago that Obama is Neville Chamberlain.

And I read over & over about what a sell-out Obama is and how he's actually a Republican.

So now you're saying you are surprised by the Obama bashing here?

      Were you just born yesterday?

preoccupied with whether they like the POTUS or not that they are literally not looking at what the only alternative is doing. What do you, mk3872, plan to do about the various new House rules discussed on the front page today, or the plan to bankrupt states which the Rs have announced. All the Obama bashing in the world does is distract from that. You are now looking at the consequences of your telling people not to vote in November, on the front page here, and all you got to say is Obama is lame. Nothing about the actual dangers facing the country and everyone here in what the Rs have announced they are doing, as if it was all neutral to you and didn't touch you.

This sort of fixation makes me wonder if I am actually looking at R trolls here, not fussing about the awful things Rs have announced because they cannot be touched by them. . . . and it is only Rs who presumably will not be so touched.

attitudes are flowing on this web site like I never saw years ago. So you think obama isn't your man now because he didn't agree with you 100%. Are petulance and narrow mindedness  any more acceptable when the far left expresses that as opposed to the far right. i was confused a bit recently as i saw those proclaiming themselves progressives behaving similarly to members of the party they hated the most, the tea party. I am 118,000 or so. I have been here awhile and lurked before that for a couple years. Diaries were strictly required to follow all the writing rules and sources. Thats gone away in favor of a single paragraph to spout off about something. People actually worked to change things , to effect policy and get dems elected. The current bashing of obama and sitting out the election out of a narrow view, going to the point of proclaiming him the worst president ever is a great way to get repugs elected. oh wait , they did.   The stature of this community has dropped substantially. And comment threads are full of more non substantial notes from many instead of substantial efforts to effect change.
