Could you take a blastula, extract some cells, and create another blastula? If so, there'd be twins, so where'd they get the extra "soul"?

Speaking of THAT, aren't identical twins from the same blastula? So already, you've got twin souls coming from one set of blastula.

Whatever. It's never logical, I dunno why I even try to understand anymore.

The fact of the matter is, most of the wingers who subscribe to this crap have never and will never take a philosophy or ethics course, so they will never understand all the ways in which they can't be consistant in their believes. Ignorance really is bliss.

You could do precisely that until the citoplasmatic determinates get diluted to the point where RNA (not DNA mind you) and other enzymes no longer allow the cells to be totipotent.

When that occurs, that is the point (to put it simplistically) where "stem cells" become regular, specific cell lines... i.e. some can now only form into liver cells, muscle cells, brain cells, etc.

Nobody will change America for you, you have to work to make it happen
