  •  I'm still nursing my 3-year-old. . . (none)
. . .once a day, but I stopped nursing in public when she was a little over 2. It seemed to creep people out, which is a shame.

I'll take a woman with a toddler shoved under her shirt any day of the week over a woman with a cranky, screaming toddler. A lot of little-kid public "failure to cope" moments can be soothed with just a few moments of "quality time".

It does take a hell of a time-commitment, though, and our society is so anti-mother that I can't blame people who can't do it. . .

    •  Toddler under the shirt (none)
That cracked me up. I have to admit I find unsettling the idea of breastfeeding after they start to talk. But maybe if we saw more toddlers under the shirt, we might get over it.

So if "liberals" are an "elite", how come we aren't in charge?

      •  I swear, I didn't plan. . . (none)
. . .to nurse my daughter so long. But we started with the "nursing on demand" thing, and the "co-sleeping" thing, and weaning her has been like dealing with an addict!

Thankfully, she still hasn't got her "R's" and "S's", so when she suddenly announces loudly, "I wan ta noot!" most folks don't know what she's talking about : )
