    maybe it would wake some of the slumbering IPod generation up to the fact that elections have real consequences that directly affect them. More and more of the momentum on the Women's Rights front (among others) has been lost because an ever larger segment of the population cant remember a times when these rights didnt exist. And they assume noone can take them away from them. Not really.

      find a way to obtain an abortion whether is is legal or not.

      However; how much power do we mere citizens have in shaping our country's future?  I don't know the exact answer to that, but I do know that with the Supreme Court's Citizen's United decision to grant corporations the same status as human citizens that our ablility to shape our country's future laws and policy is MUCH less than is corporate America's ability to do so.

      I don't think that we should really cast aspersions or pick on or otherwise verbally eat our young.  In many ways, they intuitively understand today's political environment much better than do us older adults.

      After all, for progressives, taking one for the team is desirable, but all too often at present, we are taking one from the team.
