    Wow, that is terrible! Will the health-insurance reform do anything for you? It sounds like you'll be eligible for state Medicaid when they change the eligibility rules. That part has me really nervous; if so many people are going to get moved to Medicaid I just don't see how the program can be funded properly. But who knows, I may be surprised.

      now that I got my final W-2 for the year, unless they make me wait until I file my next set of taxes.

      I think I'm now eligible for the earned income credit, probably food stamps, medicaid, and maybe heating assistance.

      It's breaking myself past the shame and stigma involved in signing up for things that I'm having a tough time with.  It's just not the 'done thing' in my family...
