I think - think - my e-mail might be functional again.  If so, you have mail. :-)  If not, I hope you see this - it arrived this afternoon, and we literally cannot thank you enough. New tank on order; my sanity to follow shortly.

Chi miigwech, and much love from both of us, my dear, to you and everyone else involved.

I'm going this route to connect with you because your email may not be fully functional and I wanted to touch base before the Haiti earthquake diary...
I wrote this to Allie123 the other day - she told me to pass it on to you:

I'm part of an ad hoc group of folks who have initiated a simple commemoration for the earthquake - to ring bells at the time of the tragedy for the 35 second duration. Or beat pans, as is a Haitian tradition (bot teneb - defeating darkness).
We have a facebook page for it, a press release, etc. And we have many facilities ringing their bells - in DC, Detroit, Tucson, Oregon, Mpls, St. Paul, etc. We are trying to spread this as far and wide as we can...
The event has the 'sponsorship' and involvement of Brian Concannan, Haiti Lawyers Leadership Network, many orgs from MN,etc.
Thanks to you folks for continuing the diaries - it's been a lot of work, but absolutely worth it.
        mesi anpil.

anyhow - I am doing a simple diary the day before - something I have been meaning to write for a while about the ambiguous-ness of trying to help Haiti, and some of the things I have been doing, but I will be plugging yours and Allie's.  be well,
