            to do all that damage even with their 1/2 of 1/3rd. The one thing we have to admit is their strong allegiance to their party, however misguided that may be and their perseverance. The left could definitely do with those qualities.

              The one thing we have to admit is their strong allegiance to their party, however misguided that may be and their perseverance. The left could definitely do with those qualities.

              The one thing that the midterms certified is that the Republican base has a strong allegiance to fear, paranoia, tribalism, misinformation and right-wing worldviews disseminated on FOX and radio.

              If we have to become like that to consistently win, I'm not sure that's a victory for progress. I want us to win like we won in 2008. The coalition that celebrated around the world on November 4, 2008 is how a win should look.

              The ghoulish, gun-toting, death-panel lying group that won the midterms repels me.
