    Let's see:

Michigan elects a Republican Governor after the Democrats saved the auto industry...from the GOP saying let it fail.

Ohio elects a Republican Governor who kills a job-creating high speed rail project as his first act.

Texas re-elects Rick Perry, apparently oblivious to a $25 billion budget deficit that may even require cuts to high school football funding.

Meanwhile, they're laughing all the way to Disneyworld...

    •  Progressive Dems bust their ass to elect Obama, (0+ / 0-)

who then appoints Alan Simpson to help him cut Social Security.

History will witness that Barack Obama was America's first self-rolling president.

Why should ordinary voters trust us?

Do we work to expose GOP lies as lies? No, we snark and we sneer.

Do we say to these people, "We understand your fears and needs. Here's how we can help."

No, we call them idiots because they don't spend hours each day trying to dig out tiny nuggets of fact within the blizzard of lies generated by the GOP and the MSM.

Do we make sure that they know all the good things done by Democrats? No, we are attack dogs only.....we criticise, we slam, we are so, so above the bourgeois habit of giving praise where praise is deserved.

The "base" hears little or nothing f positive from us....but they hear plenty in the way of slam, snark and sneer.

Freedom has two enemies: Those who want to control everyone around them...and those who feel no need to control themselves.

HS football, he better just spend the rest of his term in the gov's mansion and never leave it.

He might need a food taster too.

I think cutting HS football in TX is one of the signs of the Apocalypse, isn't it?

new guv killing the rail plan?  Because that's exactly what he did, and then cried foul when a European rail factory said they were going to pull out of the state and lay off 800 workers.
