  •  How? Because constantly asking "where are the (0+ / 0-)

jobs Mr. Boehner" gives him the right to say "Here are the jobs" when the economy picks up, even though he will have made no contribution to creating them.

From an image point of view, it's putting all of the responsibility for job creation on Boehner.

That works fine in the short term when the jobs picture is so grim, but backfires when the jobs pick up during his tenure.

    •  We must, (3+ / 0-)

absolutely must, scream long and loud about the bills and agenda the r's are preparing to waste time on.  We must keep the public informed on who is working for jobs and who is pissing around.  They screamed about jobs from the beginning of Obama's term.  The public thinks obama is why we have big unemployment numbers.  The r's caused it and then when they knew it wouldn't pick up quickly they blamed Obama.  We always get stuck in this cycle of they f-up and we take the blame.  We have to get the msm to change the view and report more fairly.  I am calling my reps daily about my state health care and job creation.  I am up for any other ideas.

Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in...

you think you need to be nice - its the last thing you should do.

Either they get actively confronted or you have all these liberals giving up their position because one way or another the GOP is going to get its way.

Kissing their ass and being polite and obsequious AIN'T working.

      •  If you distill it down to it's essence, the GOP's (0+ / 0-)

answer to jpb creation is tax cut's. about 5.5 million wee added to the ransk of the officially unemployed from 2000 to 2008 with those tax cut in place.

The cureent admistartion continued those tax cuts and we have 7.755 million more unemployed since 2008.

Now this adminstration and (in their final throw of power) democratic controlled congress voted to extend the expring cuts. This is a recipe for a disaster at the state level next year.

What is the jobs plan from the democrats?

"How does this create jobs, Cryin' Johnny?"

The Cryin' Johnny is a joke, the question is serious--how do we frame this demand to make them take responsibility for their non-job-creating actions while still being able to point out the positive, job-creating actions the Dems/President are attempting?

"How does this create jobs?" puts them on the spot with all of their partisan, unproductive, irresponsible behavior.

And it will contrast with the actions taken by the President and Dems in Congress.
