I just left the House Floor, where the Republican majority has voted against a Democratic effort to require Representatives to reveal if they are accepting health insurance as a Member of Congress.

You know damn well every freakin' one of them is accepting health insurance as a Member of Congress!

Why are you trying to force votes on a issue you already know the answer to?

What you Democrats need to do is force the Republicans to take to the floor & publicly explain why Republicans are so determined to eliminate "ObamaCare."

Then when they begin to spew their lies & right wing talking points, use your allotted time for rebuttal to challenge their lies & ignorant talking points.

Then take the most outrageous lies they utter on the House floor to the Sunday morning shows & MSNBC, etc.

Having said all that, it's sad you have to come to Daily Kos in order to receive pointers on how to wisely proceed in the House.

Dear Jon Stewart: Your fall has been assiduous. You are now the left's version of Dennis Miller.

What you Democrats need to do...

You're not a Dem?  Also, we force votes in order to make the public see what we already suspect.  Nothing is known until a suspicion is proven correct.  Further, we do use our allotted time to expose their lies.  You seem to think that most people listen to what is said on the floor to begin with.  They don't.
We come to Daily Kos to talk about what is going on and try to pass along truth to our members so that we can go forth and correct the lies when talking with friends/family/coworkers.  It's known as conversation.  But only we actual Democrats know about it.
