    The case of Kennedy v. Louisiana , 07-343 U.S. (2008), held that the death penalty is unconstitutional for offenses that do not involve the death of the victim.  But, certain offenses such as first degree kidnapping or aggravated rape which result in the death of the victim still qualify in many states for the death penalty.  

    And you still haven't made a cogent case for the relevance, as to whether their conditions of incarceration are humane, just or acceptable, of the offense for which these men are incarcerated.

      The were involved in a prison riot that resulted in 8 prisoners and one guard being murdered and convicted of murder in at least one of them.

      That seems a pretty good reason to be damned careful with them.

      Let me as you... if one of your loved ones was in prison would you want any of these people to be potentially in contact with your loved one?
