  •  You just don't know what you (0+ / 0-)

    are talking about.

Answer some questions for me if you could.

How many people have you hired or got jobs for in the past year?

    What about the past 10?

You ever wake up at 3 in the morning to follow someone around for a month to train someone how to sweep a floor?

You ever go in to a business to save someones job that just told their boss to fuck off?

You ever have someone sit in your office and tell you they shot their wife twice on accident and that they were framed for attempted murder, and then try to find them a job after that?

You ever have someone tell you they don't like to work with blacks, eventhough you are black and still try to get them a job?

You ever had a consumer die on you?  What about 4?

You ever discuss with a grown man, how to explain to an employer that you never learned to read or write?

I've done all of these things and will continue to do these things.  If you have done any of these things, you would know that you are going overboard.

This stuff is typical and it gets worse, so don't talk to me about my negative attitude, considering the shit I deal with day after day, year after year, my attitude is a miracle to most of the people that work in my field.

You need to respect the people that know this type of work instead of being an asshole and talking shit about our attitude when we are just being realistic about real things.

    •  You do fine work (0+ / 0-)

but I don't understand why you have to lump this man in with everyone else.

He didn't shoot anyone. He knows how to read and write. He sure isnt' telling anyone to fuck off.

I just don't understand why people here tried to blow him off and told him to get to the back of the bus because it wasn't his turn. He didn't deserve to get a job because someone better needed it.

That is the attitude that I replied to.

on him.  For people doing this type of work or people like Ted himself know that there are lots of "Ted's" out there.  The fact that he can read and write or hasn't shot anyone doesn't make him different.   Ted made some bad choices in his life like many do, he has some disabilities like many do, the difference is that he went viral and when a person like Ted gets through, people pay attention.... for a second, then it is back to normal.

There are literally tens of thousands of "Ted's" in say any ten random states if that.

I'm happy for Ted but there's people out there who can't even get a chance to flip a burger, much less get 15 minutes of fame.
