    doesn't use e-ink and is hard on the eyes when you attempt to read for long periods.  [This aspect was discussed in last week's diary.]

    Also, if you're reading on a PC, an upright head position just doesn't seem a natural, or normal, or comfortable way to read.

    Beyond the heft and sensuality of touch and smell of a book, reading position and place contribute a lot to the experience, don't they?
