    that started out pretty grating with some irritating bits, but ultimately arrived at some conclusions I'd agree with:

    That the best way to cure wealth inequality is to create policies that allow for social mobility.

    An example of this that I had a conversation with a friend of mine about is the ability to distill spirits.

    Before you can get a license to legally distill spirits in the US you need to have the capacity to produce 10,000 cases per year which essentially locks out the little guys.

    Same with milk production, since the equipment to pasteurize the milk, a legal requirement, locks out very small dairies.

    Laws like the recent Local Community Radio Act which opens radio frequencies to garage broadcasters and the new law in Michigan that exempts small, home bakers and jam makers from state licensing requiremnts or the need for a commercial kitchen are exactly, EXACTLY what we need in the US to help with social mobility and decrease wealth disparity.
