    On the one hand greedy people are just as greedy people do. They do things because there's an incentive to do it, and because there's nothing to make them pay for it.

    On the other hand, a great deal of them have systematically saw to it that all the disincentives to create this seeming descent towards Third Worldism are destroyed, piece by piece.

    liberal bias = failure to validate or sufficiently flatter the conservative narrative on any given subject

      decide that it's futile to fight this system, then all the better.

      Remember it was conservative guru Paul Weyrich himself who said it was in the conservatives' interests to have fewer people voting.

      But it isn't just voting. People are so disconnected. I saw a book in the bookstore I didn't buy but want to "Bowling Alone" or something like that.
