  •  why was it nauseating to you, this (1+ / 0-)

website is blaming Glenn Beck, Palin and Oreilly. Did that nauseate you also? Is there a suggestion that anything that is contrary to your politics nauseates you?  As for myself, I was nauseated by this rampant violence and the loss of innocent life. It wasn't done by Beck, Palin, dailykos, but was done by a person with obvious problems and a violent streak. You can't fix him or anyone like him by controlling speech or guns, that's ridiculous. Where were you and what were you thinking when the fort hood massacre took place? remember, don't call hassan an islamic jihadist, that might make Obama mad. Just do like the president does and call him a corpzman

As in ha, ha, ha, you tried to hide your guilt, DKos, but we captured the evidence. This is what was sickening to me.

What I was thinking was not unlike others who are shocked and saddened by this incident.

Regardless of those who are compelled to point fingers, this isn't a debate. This is murder and mental illness. And "ha, ha, ha" is sickening to me.

      I'll cite some personal experiences.

Four of my close friends from high school developed schizophrenia. Two of them are now dead. One committed a murder and was killed later while in prison. Another nearly beat his parents to death with a hammer. He was committed to a hospital. I personally talked him into turning himself in after he fled that night. He had called his best friend who handed the phone to me. One is institutionalized and is not likely to ever be treated successfully. He never harmed anyone, but I remember that the last time I saw him, he was walking down the center of a downtown street, yelling profanities at everyone, and carrying and intimidating people with a baseball bat. I stopped and talked him down a bit. I'm glad that he recognized me as a friend. The fourth was drafted into the Marine Corps, served in Vietnam, wasw discharged due to mental illness, and turned to alcohol. I have worked with alocoholics and addicts for over 30 years and he eventually came in contact with me. The brain damage was obvious (the alcoholic wet brain) and he was clearly affected by Vietnam (PTSD). He died of alcohol poisoning.

My brother-in-law has an artificial elbow because of his brother-in-law shooting him and his parents and later failing in his attempted suicide. He is now dead.

There is nothing funny about any of this. The idea that someone would be so callous as to enjoy and laugh about anything whatsoever to do with this tragedy literally nauseates me.
