all that complicated. and people who advocate violence for horrors such as passing health care legislation should feel good when these violent acts occur. abortion terrorists who kill doctors feel good about what they have done for the "unborn" so sarah and glenn and rush should applaud acts that are consistent with what they have been suggesting. they are not legally culpable so why not revel in the success? surely they feel no shame....and their ditto heads will clap and bark like the trained seals  that they are.

    •  not quite true. (10+ / 0-)

People with guns do not kill people in general.

People who want to kill people VERY often choose guns to do so.

But the vast majority of gun owners are responsible and would not use them to kill people with.

When you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind. Violent rhetoric begets violence.

      •  murder rates (0+ / 0-)

Speaking excessively generally - all other things being more or less equal, murder rates are lower in countries in which it is harder to own a firearm and higher in those in which is is easy.

The reason is simply that it is easier for a coward to kill someone with a gun than it is for the same coward to kill someone with a knife or his hands.

        •  You realise (0+ / 0-)

HCI had to rename itself after puttint out so many of these lies right?

Might want to check out the statistics on Israel and Switzerland. Two nations the gun control nuts specifically exclude in their "stastistics"..

Voters will choose a person who fights a losing battle for his principles over one who fights winning battles against them every time.
