    And are unwilling to consider the possibility that one could be useful. You seem to be willing to say that someone standing in line with a gun would be better off ducking and hoping not to be killed than to shoot the person killing everyone because something could go wrong.

    Something did go wrong, a sick individual killed a lot of nice people.  I could do with a few less.

      The furthest I'm willing to go is to state that a person returning fire risks shooting other innocents and being shot themselves by others who think that they are the primary assailant.  Or, if they are late arrivals and do not see the person who FIRST opened fire, that they risk shooting another person who is shooting at the primary assailant.

      If that means that I somehow "don't like guns", then I have to question your definition of "like".

      Reality has a liberal bias.
