They only care about ideological warfare

Everyone, and I mean everyone is politicizing this.  Jon Stewart's piece was brilliant last night, and if you didn't watch it, you should.

    Because he is exactly right.

If you think it's ONLY been Republicans pushing the meme that this nut is a member of the "other extreme," you haven't been hanging around this website lately.

The past few days on this website have told me that a lot of people here engage in ideological warfare.  If you don't see that, I don't know what to say.

The reason this is framed in light of hate politics is that hate politics created the atmosphere in which this sort of thing becomes acceptable.

Everyone, and I mean everyone is politicizing this.

Do you really disagree with the above statement?

If you haven't watched the Daily Show piece, you should.  It's very good.

You are right though...hate politics have permeated our society.  It's been very clear in the aftermath of the past few days, hasn't it?  However, this clarity should bring outrage.

While it's kind of sweet to think that the Tea Party and Bernie Sanders actually agree on something, I think it's not so sweet that within 2 days of this tragedy, they both sent out fundraising emails based around this tragedy.  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?  I'm sure both could defend themselves, but it would simply be semantics.

...hate politics created the atmosphere in which this sort of thing becomes acceptable..

However, I disagree on your second premise.  This assassination thing has not become acceptable.  Unless "this sort of thing" is hate politics, in which case I, of course, agree.  The utilization and acceptability of hate politics has created an atmosphere where hate politics are utilized and acceptable.
