on another thread.  If Bush lied, so did Clinton.  Everyone thought there were WMD's, but it's ok to make incendiary charges if you are talking about Bush, or write diaries chuckling about the fact that due to his devistating health issues Dick Cheney doesn't have a pulse.

Hostile rhetoric isn't limited to one side in this debate.

Aluminum tubes?  Saddam in league with al-Qaeda?

Oh, and don't think that telling me that I need to acknowledge that Clinton lied is an effective technique to shut me up.  I carry no partisan torches, and as Clinton was the Democratic president that ratified Reaganism as the hegemonic ideology, you'll find me no fan of his.

      Hegemony is always electable.

a UN observer plane and fly it over Iraq in a manner that would draw hostile fire and provide a rationale for war. This is just one of many of the things Bush did that remove any doubt that Bush is and was a liar and a criminal.

Seriously, William, you'd have to have really been asleep for the past decade to not know Bush is a liar.

As far as I know, due to the medical technology keeping him alive, Dick Cheney doesn't have a pulse in the normal sense of the word.

I am all for civility but civility isn't achieved by ignoring reality.

    •  In that case, if i said that republicans like you (0+ / 0-)

should be drawn and quartered etc (using archaic language here to soften my point) then that would be ok with you since there's no cause and effect involved, it would be my right to free speech to engage in a relentless series of mouthings for the death of republicans-- the equivalent of what we hear on a daily basis from limbaugh, beck, coulter, savage etc.

Now i'm ready for your response which I predict will be somehow the left does it too neiner neiner so that makes it all ok.

The Great Recession is a happy happy joy joy time to drop your obsolete skills and train for new ones.
