  •  I don't feel bad for her (6+ / 0-)

Palin has had plenty of time to realize that fomenting hatred and employing graphic imagery that implies a threat of gun violence to one's identified adversaries can have consequences. She's now almost 46 years old.

I feel bad for her kids, who have such a poor role model.

But I don't feel bad for her--I don't know why she's so vicious, but she is. If she didn't think it would be a problem for her, she would never have taken that map down from the SarahPac site.

She's only in it for the money, and keeping the map up there would potentially jepordize her big payday.

    •  Removing the map was a tacit admission of guilt. (1+ / 0-)

I wish they would make an explicit admission:  We underestimated the corrosive, lethal power of becking. It turns out that our words are affecting fringe members of our audience in was that are destructive.  We've taken it too close to the edge. We were wrong.  We will stop.
