I've 15 tabs which open up when I start my default browser (Chrome), and the full complement of 8 when I open up IE. I used to have 23 pages which opened up when I started Chrome.

There are also books and magazines (I get a hefty discount).

Like I say, trying to be an informed citizen is a ton of work.

    •  It is. That's where I think dk4 will help (6+ / 0-)

tabbed by topics, but linked.  I think that's one of its features.

Like a group for each state!

We will be able to find each other.

      Hope it's not too late

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

I once thought a forum format might be useful for issues, races, etc, rather than a blog for real net-enabled policy discussion. Limited in participation, but observable by all. It would be a marvel of transparency. I had a prototype set up (that hard drived died, alas) and I still think it could be useful.

At Netroots, someone set up a clearinghouse for progressive think tanks, I wish I could remember the name . . . found it: The Progressive Ideas Network, which appeals to the policy wonk in me.
