Do you think Pittsburgh is really that much more of a TV market than Baltimore?

That shows Pittsburgh #23, Baltimore #26.

sometimes fans have to accept defeat. As you say, the Ravens offense stopped working in the 2nd half. I think, if you wanted to or if a Pittsburgh fan wanted to, there might be calls that favored Baltimore and if the result had been different, those could have been pointed to as "evidence" of favoritism towards your squad.

to watch the game that closely yesterday.

However, I will say that the Pittsburgh fan base is national, so even though the city and its tv-market size isn't that big, the steelers are a much bigger draw than the ravens.  (It was just announced that steelers were #1 in team merchandise sold this past year, and Polamalu's jersey was #1 in the country.)

So I don't want to think that my team was cheating, or that the refs were cutting us an unfair break, but I don't argue that the NFL wouldn't be happier to see the steelers go deep in the playoffs.  Ravens are Baltimore/DC only.
