    from a distribution standpoint as they winter in South America.  And nearly enough yellow to match that bird either.  I'm still voting for pine - I think the slender appearance of the bill could be due to the angle of the shot.

    I will say that Julie appears to know more about the fine points of warbler ID than I do.  Until the last couple of years I've mostly just IDed males either in spring migration or during breeding season.  My opinion is that birds can be either dull colored or skulk about and be hard to get clear looks at.  One or the other.  Ones that are both are ones I tend to ignore.  There I've confessed my sins as a birder.
