Democrats work to achieve Bedford Falls. Republicans work to achieve Pottersville. It's a wonderful life.

but since they do not have an ordination from a "college of Wicca" they cannot.

      Maybe this has changed?

Living kidney donor needed; type B, O, or incompatible (with paired donation). Drop me a note (see profile).

if the military does have one, then they would be new.

I did some time at Ft. Dix and I remember reading in their paper about Wiccans meeting on base for their religious gathering, but it wasn't conducted by a Chaplain.

I do recall Ft. Dix's head Chaplain was Jewish.  Very nice guy.  Was more concerned with morale issues than forcing religion on you.

Mercy is for the weak. We do not train to be merciful here.

There are Wiccans in the military, but they have to find a chaplain to sponsor them plus an offbase sponsor and jump through all kinds of hoops to get permission from the CO to use base facilities (expect the fundies to scream if they want to use the chapel since they consider WIcca devil worship).  Even if htey get permission, they will face all kinds of harassment on base fromt he rightwing Christians. Google "FOrt Hood WIccans" to learn what happened to one group which got permission to use the base--they were using a PICNIC are, but the local Baptists harassed their circles till the MPs ahd to coem to protect the witches fromt he Christians. ANd their large granite altar stone and thei Qyuarter markers were destoryed--since that altaar was about a 500 pd peuice of granit, it took a sledge hammer to do it.
