Don't know if you saw my reply to your diary-I did glean.

I was pleased to see my research was useful to someone.  Your diary was very interesting.

I'm still working on the Dickerson connection.  I still want to know why Eberle thanked Dickerson.

I've been looking into the money trail today.

According to Dickerson's tpj.org bio, he was co-host of a Bush attended fundraiser in Houston.

     The CWA COPE link says:
"At Bush's fund-raising visit to Houston on March 10, for example, Dickerson, brought Michael Ames, an investment banker he hopes to entice to do business with his law firm."

My (yet to be exhausted) search for Bush attended fundraisers in Houston has resulted in the following two results from White House for Sale:

    July 19, 2003 - Houston, TX
    Headliner: George W. Bush.
Also Appearing: Rep. Tom Delay (R-Tx); Gov. Rick Perry; Morgan Stanley lobbyist Stephen P. Payne; Goldman Sachs investment banker Peter Coneway; and oil executive John Johnson, who was appointed in 1998 to the Texas Transportation Commission by then-Gov. Bush.
Special attraction: Mingle with former Enron employees and current Bush Pioneers Nancy and Rich Kinder.
    Bottom line: $3 million.

    March 8, 2004 - Houston, TX
    Headliner: George W. Bush
Special attraction: After lunch in Dallas, you can follow the President to Houston for dinner at Hilton Americas.
    Bottom line: $1.5 million

    Nothing for March 10th?

BTW-Have you seen this?  Apparently what W says publicly about gays doesn't apply to gays in government!

Yes, he should have given him a big wet one.
