  •  I was only joking a little (0+ / 0-)

You're right. I should not have been so insensitive. But if someone hates their state so much, to a degree that is very disproportionate to what's happening, I can't help but say that.

I go by this logic whenever a political decision is made: if the state doesn't like it, they can vote them out. If they do like it, the complainer is out of luck.

Look, I don't like Rick Scott and his kind. But he has to live with them, and unless he is directly affected by their decisions, I would not freak out.

Oh, and Obama repealed DADT, passed healthcare reform, passed a stimulus, and many other promises were fulfilled.

People panic too much on this site.

    •  Obama did these things? (0+ / 0-)

Hmm, it seems that Obama supporters (and I'm not saying you are doing this, but your statement might be an indication that you are) want to have it both ways: if something bad happens (or something good doesn't happen), it's not Obama's fault--"he's not a dictator/Bush", "he doesn't control Congress", etc. When something good does happen, though, Obama gets the credit--Obama "reapealed DADT"? Obama "passed healthcare reform"?
So you are creating a bad faith argument with those of us who criticize the job he is doing. Obama can't fail, he can only be failed? Yikes.
