    the low wages in China and say that is their competitive advantage. They never mention the other competitive "advantages" like being able to dump toxic sludge into the river for free, or being able to lock workers in sweltering death-trap factories with no fire extinguishers. Or being able to work employees until they are crippled with repetitive stress syndrome, and then throw them away like garbage; or having workers work around acids and heavy metals with no protective gears.

    If we were truly competing on wages alone, the US would be fairly competitive since workers' wages are actually a fairly small percentage of most high value products.
