    I worry he'd sign off on it in the spirit of bipartisanship...

    Given what we've seen so far, I don't think that is in the realm of the impossible.  

    What are the core principles of the Democratic Party? Serious Question...

      He issued an executive order saying that the hyde amendment would be part of HIR. Obama doesn't mind abortions as long as you're rich and can afford it yourself.

      he wouldn't do it. Obama knows his interests, and that is not one of them. And he ignored the Stpuak amendment because he was desperate to pass healthcare reform. He would get NOTHING out of this.

      Name one time he signed something he hated for the sake of bipartisanship, and nothing else.

      People panic too much on this site.

        to "must-pass" legislation - and then blame Obama for not supporting the troops if he vetoes it.
