    I may be old fashioned but I would rather trust my sense of timing over an automated process. The photographic moment can still be lost between the shots.

    Example: if you're shooting at 1/125 and the camera is capable of 10 shots a second you'll only be getting around 1/12 of the "instants"

    An unconnected and unconventional use for the continuous shooting mode:

    If there is not enough light and the timing isn't absolutely critical set the camera to continuous, fire away for several seconds then by the laws of averages one or two of the shots will be sharp.
