    ...the hugs are so great to counter all those vicious ideas we've internalized over the years! {{{eru}}} I'm in a master's program now for educational therapy and I'm just about to start my lit review. I'm really interested in what research has been done on "effort"--how it's measured, how it's perceived, how it's remediated. It seems to me that a lot of the shame and blame that happens w/ ppl w/ AD/HD centers on the misread of effort. When ppl make mistakes but we see they are trying, we are far more forgiving. Not so when we perceive laziness, lack of effort, disinterest.

    We are here to awaken from the illusion of our separateness.
