    but it would seem if it was reported on the tax forms, but not on the judicial forms, that is another strike against them.  Even if others such as a clerk, prepare the  form, he/they should not be signing it without going over it a bit. Plus, if you were a clerk for a judge at any level, you would probably know if a spouse was employed.

    Again, as with the judicial form, he is responsible for knowing what he is signing.

    It was the Heritage Foundation's tax forms, reporting Mrs. Thomas' income as being paid out, that alerted Common Cause to the discrepancy.  

    I do hope the IRS is looking into this.  Sorry my friend who used to work for them as a CPA, has retired. She would have LOVED to go after this.
