      It seems to work every time in Texas.  Even our City Counselor candidates always spout their anti-abortion credentials.  It's so much easier to sound righteous than to address the problems of actually...governing.

      Sometimes it's better to individually address a problem rather than just criticize our politicians for failing to do so.

      in his response listed as the proper function of the Federal government which sounded suspciously to me like the forced birth movement and legal enforcement of the goals of that movement was that item as a proper function of a suitably narrowed Federal government. Why are you surprised when the twit in Texas does this now? He thinks he and the Rs are on a roll here. After All, their forced birth proposals for the Tax Code and such were introduced as H.R. 3.
