    ..and thanks for sharing, Chris.  It's immensely interesting but short on content, which you point out with some finesse.  My gut reaction: Axelrod, whom I used to think was this candid and cool fellow, has developed a real talent for political doublespeak (read: bullshit). He said absolutely nothing. Why are we always left grasping at straws?  -trying to devine where the President really stands on this or that important issue? Arguing about our "interpretations" of Obama's motives rather than the facts of his positions?

      I can't think of a single issue, no matter how much he was forced to compromise, in which he admitted that the end result was not utterly fantastic and a great victory.  It's one 'mission accomplished' moment after another.  

      Health care reform is a case in point.  Has he ever said that it could have been better, that the final bill was compromised?  All you hear about is how great it is.
