    Briefly, in the battle the British lost more ships and twice as many sailors as the Germans.  (Both sides claimed victory.)  On paper it looks like a defeat for the British, but for the rest of World War I the German High Seas Fleet never challenged the British in a major action.  

    We're all pretty strange one way or another; some of us just hide it better. "Normal" is a dryer setting.

        for most of the population, I think it's just some battle between ships that happened almost 100 years ago.
